The database of Civil War Veterans in Northern Aroostook was extracted from multiple information sources, including the Fort Kent Centenial 1869-1969, the National Park Service, The Civil War, the U.S., Adjutant General Military Records, 1631-1976, and two lists found in the Acadian Archives in Fort Kent, Maine - one by Claude Charette and the other by Jean Paul Pelletier. It is being added to our web site in honor of all the Civil War Veterans who served especially those who gave their all for our country.
