| Body Text | Original French text reads as follows: Lan mil sept cent quatre vingt six le vingt sept du mois de novembre apres avoir publié les bans de mariage au prones des messes paroissialles en cette eglise pendant trois dimanches consecutif entre Antoine Gagné, fils d'Antoine Gagné et de Marie Charlotte ses pere et mere habitant de la paroisse de St Thomas d'autre part et de Marie Marguerite Grandmaison veuve de feu Jean Phocas habitant de cette paroisse d'autre part et ne festant trouve aucun ?? de mariage conicience il parait par les certificas ciuniclus des curé de different paroisse, j'ai moi prêtre curé de la paroisse de St Louis de Kamouraska ait recu leur mutuel consentement de mariage et leurs ait donné la bénédiction nuptial avec toutes les ceremonies accutume par notre mere la St Eglise (en) presence de Robert Quice, Philippe Voisine, Jacques Theriault, Thomas Guairade, Joseph Roy tous parent et qui ont suivant lordre My English Translation In the year seventeen hundred sixty six, on the twenty seventh of November after the publication of the bans of marriage during the prayers of the parochial masses in this church on three consecutive Sundays, between Antoine Gagné, son of Antoine Gagné and Marie Charlotte, his father and mother of the parish of St Thomas on one part and Marie Marguerite Grandmaison, wido of the late Jean Phocas, living in this parish on the other part, not having found any impediments to marriage known through the certificates from the pastors of different parishes, I the priest and pastor of the parish of St Louis of Kamouraska have received their mutuel consent to marriage and have given them the nuptial benediction with all the usual ceremonies according to our holy mother the church in the presence of Robert Quice, Philippe Voisine, Jacques Theriault, Thomas Guairade, (and) Joseph Roy, all relatives who (signed) according to the ordinance. |
