    • !MILITARY: Lucien is a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy where he was a deep sea diver. He was part of the Phillippine liberation force where his ship was sunk. Lucien lived with shrapnel in his leg the rest of his life, since he refused to let the doctors amputate his leg. In order to enlist in the Navy, Lucien got Vincent Shaw and Delia Dube, who is his real aunt, to adopt him and sign the enlistment papers. His real father was a Plourde.

      Lucien graduated from the U.S. Naval Training Station in Sampson, NY as part of Company 344 on 14 Jan 1944.
