Name Ferdinand Desjardins-Gardner Relationship with Therese Nadeau Baptism Between 1869 and 1874 , Maine [2] Birth 15 May 1869 Old Town, Penobscot County, Maine, USA [3] Gender Male Death 24 Aug 1930 Augusta, Kennebec County, Maine, USA [2] Burial 27 Aug 1930 St-Augustine's Cemetery, Augusta, Maine [2] Patriarch & Matriarch Jean Roy (7 x Great Grandfather)
Marie Emilie "Millie" Dionne, b. 3 Oct 1807, Kamouraska, Québec, Canada d. Aft 22 May 1882, Old Town, Maine (Aft John's death) (Age > 75 years) (Grandmother)Siblings 5 brothers and 7 sisters Notes - Per the Repetoire de Mariage de St.Augustine/Ste.Mary, Augusta, Maine,Ferdinand was baptised at Sacre Coeur de Jesus, Beauce Co., Québec in1968. However, that parish did not have a church in 1868, so thisinformation has not been confirmed. He couldn't have been born in thespring of 1868, because his sister, Clementine, was born/bap in thespring of 1868. Paul Desjardins reported in 1999 that Ferdinand'smarriage certificate for his second marriage in 1913 states that hewas baptised in St-Aphram (St-Ephrem's, Beauce, Québec?) Question: Whywould his parents have him baptised in Canada? Although, some familiesin this culture did go back to Canada to have some of their babiesbaptised with their extended families there. In any event, it seemsthat Ferdinand wasn't sure where he was baptised. The 1880 censuslists his age as 6 instead of 11-12, which would make his birth yearabt 1873-74, not 1869. Everyone else's age is quite accurate. AnotherQuestion: Why such an inconsistency with his?
Note: Seems to confusion between brother Ferd and Fred. Check records.
