      According to his brother, Rudy, Adrien was a Warrant Officer in World War II and reverted to permanent enlisted rank after the war.

      Based on photo found of his crew, he was with the 13th Air Force, also known as the Jungle Air Force since they were stationed on a lot of small islands in the Pacific.
